Tesla Pools, LLC hires student participants in a Work and Travel (J-1 visa) program from different countries. We know that to live and work in a foreign country for 3-4 months can be challenging, and it is a big decision to make. We, as a company, genuinely care for the safety and wellbeing of our international employees. We provide transportation from the airport or bus station to the accommodation where you'll stay for the summer. Tesla Pools, LLC offers accommodation in fully furnished apartments with the internet. Soon after you arrive, you will be attending an orientation meeting with your supervisor at the worksite. Your supervisor will conduct training, so you will know your responsibilities before you start work. We will provide transportation to the bank and social security services for students who will need to open a bank account or get an SSN. We are here for our international employees 24/7 to ensure they have a pleasant stay in the US.

Why choose lifeguarding as your summer job?

Lifeguarding is a sweet summer job where you get to spend your work hours near the pool, tanning while interacting with a variety of people. Sweet as it sounds it is also a very important job, with the potential to save lives. Don't worry before you get to guard a pool you will have to successfully pass a lifeguard training. Tesla Pools, LLC is offering lifeguard training through American Red Cross. Working as a lifeguard grants you an opportunity to enjoy being outdoors by a pool, refine your language skills, and gain numerous friends, while providing important service to your patrons. Overall it's a great job that will give you the best experience through the summer!

Trips and Activites

We want our international students to have the best experience in the US. Therefore, we will love to organize fun activities and trips. Our most popular trips are to Washington DC and Outer Banks, NC. However, if there is interest, we will arrange transportation to Ocean Front, Colonial Williamsburg, Kings Dominion, Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and more. When the season is over, we make a "Goodbye party" for all our employees as an employee appreciation celebration.
